"Shelves"
UNCLE SAM & The Statue of Liberty know that a lot of the stuff Soldiers work with, is heavy. They do NOT want you to injure your back trying to lift heavy stuff by yourself (sometimes, it is an emergency, and you have to do the best you can, by yourself). They absolutely enforce safe practices when lifting heavy items, and they try to get equipment that as much as possible, precludes repeatedly bending way low to obtain needed items.
Our first offering in SHELVES, is a unit of two tier (two shelves) "Supply Room Shelves". Use these for a variety of uses, certainly they could be used to store "dry goods" (sacks of sugar, salt, flour, cornmeal, potatoes, etc.). They could also store additional "Medical Supplies", but as they KIDS told us, "Medics" normally prefer "stainless steel" shelving, to aid in disinfection of the hospital areas. The "Commo Center" (communications) could use these Shelves to keep radios up off the floor, where they could get wet and ruined. "Pallets" would achieve this, but pallets don't really fit radios well, and pallets are flat on the ground and much more likely have something heavy drop on your radios and break them. The "Supply Sergeant" says he needs several Shelves, so he can arrange new spare uniforms, helmets, canteens, flashlights, etc., that are stored there in "Supply", waiting to be issued to new G.I. JOEs.
This "Supply Room Shelf" is: 14 and 1/4" wide
by 10" high and the shelves are
2" deep from front edge to rear edge.
