Mess Hall "Serving Line"

The Mess Hall "Serving Line" is where UNCLE SAM & The Statue of Liberty provide their KIDS, the best quality foods possible. The Serving Line has 2 separate sides, each with a "Steam Table"; one side is for Hot foods, and hot water circulates around the bottom of the bulk food preparation pans on the Hot foods side. The second side is for Cold foods, and cold water or ice, is packed around the bottom of the bulk food preparation pans on the Cold foods side. The water (or ice) reservoir beneath the 2 sides, is separate, and may be independently filled or drained, by manipulation of sets of plumbing valves on the Serving Line; Your imagination will provide these valves. However, we have built in a "Cough and Sneeze Shield" (made of clear, soft plastic LEXAN), so that any Soldiers with coughs or sniffles, will not contaminate the bulk supplies of foods for other Soldiers. Your Soldiers walking past each food item on the Serving Line, just indicate which food items that they want, and pass their plate beneath the "cough and sneeze shield", and a chef will scoop up a good serving onto their plate, and pass it back to them. Check out the pictures hotlinked below for samples of use of our Serving Line, and you will see the way it really is done at our Forts.

8 "bulk food preparation pans" are provided with each "Serving Line". These are the same pans that fit into (and also are included with) our "Grill, Range, and Ovens". Using heavy duty "hotpad mitts", our "Mess Stewards" and "Cooks" (Chefs) can pull these pans out of the oven, and place them into a castered (wheeled) base, mobile rack that is brought to the "Serving Line", and the food pans placed into the correct positions on the "Serving Line".

(Our GI JOEs are building more items to add here soon)
