Large Scale Artillery & Tank Ammunition Sets, with Ammunition Crates |
United States of America 75mm Tank & Artillery Ammunition:
These "Cannister" rounds, are like "shotgun shells" for your Tank. They launch many large steel pellets at point blank range. Very tough on masses of enemy infantry. |
"WP Smoke" shells explode when they land (or strike something) releasing dense clouds of White Phosphorus SMOKE, to help hide your Soldiers (or your position)...AND they explode into multiple particles of White Phosphorus (that burns for as long it is in contact with air !). NEVER fire this round at or near your own Soldiers ! IF an enemy "target" is too big or tough for your guns to handle, just launch a "WP Smoke" shell at it; when WP explodes on target, many other friendly guns WILL notice, and the big guns on your side, will help you knock that enemy out ! |
This "M61" is the round most fired in the Sherman 75mm Tanks during WW2. It is "High Explosive Armor Piercing Capped, with Tracer" (Tracer so you can see where it flies to). |
United States of America 76mm Tank & Artillery Ammunition:
The 76mm HVAP (High Velocity Armor Piercing) arrived later, to help knock out those Panthers, Tiger Is, and Tiger IIs. Until U.S. 90mm equipped Pershing Tanks and Tank Destroyers arrived to help, the "upgunned" Sherman 76mm Model, successfully boxed up lots of big bad boys ! |
United States of America 105mm Tank & Artillery Ammunition:
Early in WW2, standard 75mm Cannons on the American "M4 Sherman" could only punch the German Panther & Tiger Tanks if they successfully maneuvered around to the rear of those German Tanks, and got a shot at their butt! The "War Department of the U.S.A." got busy and manufactured new model Sherman Tanks, with the 76mm upgunned version, which used a much higher velocity shell to punch the Tiger & Panther. They also created a "Sherman M4 (105mm) version Tank", that had mounted a "105mm Howitzer" into the Sherman Turret. The 105mm Sherman could knock out those Tigers & Panthers from many more angles of engagement; also, the 105mm Sherman could provide mobile artillery fire against targets other than Tanks. |
This is how they look painted up! |
All of these items (above photo) come in your 105mm Ammunition Set !!! 1 each "sealed" (nailed shut) Ammunition Crate (decalled as shown above), 1 each "open" Ammunition Crate (decalled as shown above), 2 "unfired" Cartridges for your open crate, 2 "fired" Cartridges (empty shells). |
Paint the 2 included "Fired Shell Cases" to look like this! |
Complete "U.S. 105mm Sherman Tank Ammunition Set". The 2 unfired 105mm Cartridges are inside the "open" Ammunition Crate. OUTSTANDING for "diorama" scenes..... |
WW2 German 88mm Ammunition (for "King Tiger" Tank):
Authentic stencil decalling from actual WW2 German "King Tiger" Ammunition Crates. This is NOT the Shell for Tiger I (which is much smaller and slower), This is the hottest shell made for the "King Tiger" (Tiger II) It left the King Tiger Cannon Barrel at "3,390 feet per second". At the end of WW2, there were only 4 "King Tigers" in Berlin to defend the City, yet these 4 Tanks survived long enough (using these Shells) to knock out over 250 opponent vehicles !!! |
Your COMPLETE "King Tiger" 88mm Ammunition Set includes: 1 each "sealed" Ammunition Crate (decalled as shown above), 1 each "open" Ammunition Crate (decalled as shown above), 1 each unfired "German 88mm Shell for King Tiger", 1 each fired empty shell case for 88mm King Tiger. (Soldier & other gear in photo are NOT included) |
Paint your Shells up to look like this!!! |
A complete "diorama" friendly Set (unfired Cartridge is inside the "open" Crate) |
