RICHARD'S PROJECTS BEING CREATED FOR "STEELDRAGONS"!
U.S. 5 Gallon FUEL and WATER Cans (Jerry cans):
Copper conductor "grounding strap" to prevent "static electricity" from sparking gasoline vapors. |
(In real life) Large "lugs" on cap, assist in unscrewing/screwing the threaded cap (to seal in fuel vapors, preventing loss of fuel) |
U.S. Marine Corps 5 gallon FUEL Can |
U.S. ARMY "Desert Camouflage" 5 Gallon FUEL Can |
U.S. ARMY 5 gallon WATER Can (Desert camouflage) |
U.S. 5 Gallon WATER Can (Potable Water ONLY !) "Potable Water" is Water clean enough for Cooking, Bathing, Drinking, Handwashing. (This is the U.S. ARMY version; we also have the U.S. Marine Corps version). |
Added at 1730 p.m....... Arrival of our missing hero!!! |
This guy looks much better in person! He was an "M.I.A." He is most probably, easier to mold & cast. |
U.S. 5 Gallon Water Can (operational spout lid). |
The Lines and Detail Shapes are Clean; Will Turn Out Well ! |
New materials arrived today, and in looking things over, we decided to rework the existing molds for the "U.S. 5 Gallon WATER Can". Also, we created the molds for the "U.S. 5 Gallon FUEL Can". |
Both components of the 5 Gallon FUEL Can "Lid". |
An improved "latch" to secure the "German 2cm Ammo Can" |
The middle item on the bottom row, is a "one part mold", and so are all 4 items in the middle row. The remaining items are all '2 part molds". |
Dow-Corning "High Strength III" molding rubber has been poured. |
Each side of a "2 part mold" for either a FUEL CAN or a WATER CAN takes a full pound of "Quickset Molding Rubber"! |
Hey, They got the address RIGHT this time! |
And, just a few hours later..... |
Second half of "Quickset" rubber mold of "German 2 cm openable Ammo Can" is TOP; Opening "Lid" for "German 2 cm Ammo Can" is BOTTOM. |
Second half of "Quickset" mold of "U.S. 5 Gallon FUEL Can (both RIGHT and LEFT sides of Can). |
First sides of "Quickset" molds of "U.S. 5 Gallon WATER Can". |
Another 5 pounds "Quickset" has been expended! |
More Progress Photos to be placed!
WW2 German "KwK43 L/71 Ammunition Project" for PanzerKampfwagen VI (B) , aka : KonigsTiger |
These decals replicate "stencils" Germany placed on top (lid) and each side of Ammunition Crate for "King Tiger" cannon rounds. |
First Batch of custom made decals is enough for the first FOUR Crates of "King Tiger" Ammunition. |
Decals we made from an ACTUAL Ammunition Crate Sticker from WW2 King Tiger Ammunition Crate. Will be placed on each side of ammo crate. MUCH more legible in person! |

The big guy, on the left hand side, is the "King Tiger" cartridge that will reside in these ammunition crates. He is know as "PanzerSprengGranate 43/41 Patrone, in 88mm"; He is fired from "PzKw VI (B) "Konigs Tiger" Cannon "KwK 43 L/71" ********* The Cartridge on the right, is a "U.S. 75mm HE APC-T" Sherman Tank Round. |
More Progress Photos to be placed!
We have continuously upgraded our research to establish accuracy of product item colors, and have borne the cost to achieve the necessary stockages. |
Do NOT be afraid to ask for the price you need, when marketing these toys and collectibles. ONE bottle of these protective coatings of "clear gloss acrylic" treats (undercoating prior to decalling) EIGHT standard size Ammunition Crates; and it costs $5.29 per one ounce bottle. Then after drying, we apply decals that require "decal paper" and "clear gloss spray", FIVE sheets of spaced decals costs $13.00 (plus shipping costs for materials) to prepare. Then we apply the decals, let them dry, and apply in sequence, THREE more coats of "Clear FLAT Acrylic", also $5.29 per bottle! But these costs do NOT even bear in mind the costs of the wood, the rope, and HOURS of hand sanding required to get them cleaned up nicely. Make no mistake, these are little treasures, worth their dollars! |
This is the bowl of water that we use to wet a rag to wipe up excess glue, and two paintbrushes used to remove excess glue in areas the rag can't reach. They have been in our workshop overnight, and you can see that they are trapped in an icecube, and aren't going anywhere for awhile, until they thaw out. |
The "molding rubber" in these molds would not get "firmed up" because they were too cold overnight in our workshop, even with a 1,500 watt fan forced heater and "R19 Insulation"! Mama usually has a policy of "no toys manufacturing in the house"....but she took mercy on these molds, and now they are turning out fine. Mama knows that we have good Peoples that we are working with, counting on us, so she is trying to go the extra mile also, to see that our entire team gets a good shot at success! |
