Our British and U.K. Commonwealth "Liason Detachment" assigned to "U.S. 21st SFG-RPA, JUWTF SOG". They help teach us about working with our allies and their gear, and they learn from us about working with us (their allies) and our gear. Here they demonstrate using the "PIAT" anti-tank launcher (Projector Infantry AntiTank). Shorter than a Bazooka or Panzerschreck, it is easier to swing around and fire in tight spots, nevertheless, it is very effective, against armored vehicles, pillboxes, machinegun nests, etc. Note the "BREN" light machinegun in the background of this photo. |

A "British 8th ARMY" machinegunner, alert & armed with a BREN light machinegun. Close in to his position, is one of our Ammunition Crates for the "VICKERS medium Machinegun". This BREN Gun is either a "Mark 3" or "Mark 4" model, as they have the semi-circular 30 round magazine of .303 ammunition. (Note that the ammunition in this crate is BELTED machinegun ammo, is indicated by marking "303 BDR". |

One of our Ammunition Crates for 576 cartridges of ".303 Rifle BALL Ammunition", fitted with Mark VII "spitzer" bullets; shown with a "caliber .303 scoped Lee-Enfield Sniper Rifle", for Britain & United Kingdom Commonwealth Countries. Note that this is marked as produced at "RSAF Enfield" (Royal Scottish Arms Factory, Enfield). Also note that the ammunition in this crate, is NOT in "belts" (as needed by a "beltfed" machinegun), rather it is in cardboard "cartons" (as indicated by ".303 CTN" markings). |
